Pound Puppies is an animated series that is shown on The Hub in the U.S.A., and on YTV in Canada. The show premiered on October 10, 2010. It is not to be confused with the 80's cartoon/movie of the same name, the two may appear related, but they actually aren't in any way.

The series follows a gang of dogs at Shelter 17--Lucky, Cookie, Strudel, Squirt, and Niblet--who are part of a secret organization that helps get puppies adopted faster and more efficiently than humans. This includes pairing the puppy up with his/her perfect human and delivering the puppies to their homes. Despite their headquarters being located immediately below the building, the humans employed at Shelter 17 are oblivious to the Pound Puppies' operations.

Animation Production ChangesEdit

For the series's first seven episodes, the animation production was done by 9 Story Entertainment. After episode seven, animaton production changed hands into Studio B Productions. This explains the sudden change in animation between episodes seven and eight.
